What is Open and Gated Community?

 Exciting News! Joining a Nonprofit Community on Neki Just Got Easier!  

At Neki, there are two ways to join a nonprofit community: Open Communities and Gated Communities. Let’s break it down!  

 1. Open Community
Jump right in—no approval needed! Users can instantly join and become part of the action without waiting for nonprofit admin approval. Super easy, right?

2. Gated Community

Want a little more exclusivity? With Gated Communities, users need the green light from the nonprofit admin. After completing the simple onboarding, a join request is automatically sent to the admin. Once approved, users get an email with a special link to access the community!

 

No matter how users join, the nonprofit admins are always in control . They can block/unblock users, manage user-generated content, and decide what gets to shine in public. Plus, admins are always in the loop with email and in-app notifications whenever someone new joins.

How to Manage Users

Ready to take charge? Just log in to Neki, head to the 'Administration' tab, and select 'User Management' to access all the user controls you need!
